Set in the Beacons National Park, Mid Wales, with views of the mountains, it's easy to see why this Award-Winning Activity Centre is so popular with primary & secondary schools.
There's so much on offer from horse riding in the hills to climbing to the top of the indoor climbing walls! Each day is packed full of exciting activities, delivered by enthusiastic, qualified instructors.
At the end of an action packed day, relax in your cosy Tipi Village, located in a private location within the Centre or Bunk House (NEW) and, enjoy meals in the on-site restaurant. It's then time for evening activities.
Open all year round, you can enjoy 2 & 4 night adventures here from April-October and a 2 night Adventure all year round, ensuring there is a school trip to suit all objectives and budgets.

The activities on offer here make the most of the centre's extensive on-site facilities including miles of private bridleways for horse-riding, and extensive climbing facilities including the only indoor natural limestone featured climbing walls in Wales. There are also artificial featured climbing walls, large bouldering areas with plenty of interesting routes, an extensive natural rock caving system, and a 16-metre abseiling tower and a beginners tower.

stay in a tipi village or bunk house
We have two types of accommodation available here including your own Tipi Village or Bunk House, which means you can book a trip here all year round.

Tipi Village
Stay in your own Tipi Village, set in the picturesque National Park countryside surrounded by mountains, sleeps up to 60 guests, with pupils sleeping in giant tipis with comfortable sleeping mats and separate, smaller tipis for teachers (with raised beds). Camping at its best! There are separate indoor toilet and shower facilities for boys and girls, a drying room, changing rooms and private Party Leader shower and changing area.

The Tipi Village is available between 29th April and 27th September.

Bunk House- NEW!
You can now stay in Bunk House accommodation, which caters for up to 45 people and offers separate rooms for teachers. The Bunk House is available all year round. Photos coming soon.
Dining takes place at the centre's Base Camp Cafe which has its own spacious outdoor balcony seating 24 with a stunning panorama of Llangorse Lake and the peaks of the Brecon Beacons. Special menus can be prepared to suit the exact needs of your group, including any select dietary requirements.

Ideally located in the Brecon Beacons National Park, this centre is in a fantastic outdoor setting for an adventure. Making the most of the area, we include horse riding in the surrounding countryside & hills and a hill walk offering incredible views.

Winning multiple awards for it's excellent facilities, the centre offers 25 miles of land for horse-riding, over 1,580 m2 (17,000 ft2) of climbing surface, the only indoor natural limestone climbing walls in Wales, artificial featured climbing walls (up to 15m from the ground!) and more, you can see why!
Horse riding in the brecon beacons
What a way to savour the gentle valleys and beautiful views of the Brecon Beacons, Black Mountains and Llangorse Lake. All rides are enjoyed on over 25 miles of private bridleways within the centre's land and on vast areas of adjacent hillside (no roads).
CHOICE OF ACCOMMODATION
Choose to stay in your own cosy Tipi Village set in the private grounds of the centre, surrounded by views of the mountains and countryside. There's plenty of space for games and access to the indoor spaces too. Or, you can stay in bunk house accommodation all year round.

Easily accessible from the M50 and M4, the activity centre is located in the Brecon Beacons National Park, Mid Wales. Close the the village of Llangorse, this pretty village close to the town of Brecon is surrounded by mountains and countryside. It doesn't get much better than this in the UK!
