Start your penultimate day on the water with a Paddlesports session. Save some energy for the afternoon Assault Course. Unwind on your final evening with friends at the campfire

Enjoy one last high-energy activity: Archery Active. Wave Mendip's instructors goodbye as you depart in the afternoon
From Mendip Lodge, to Mendip Basecamp, to YHA Cheddar, Mendip Adventure has something to offer every group and budget! With capacity for over 300 students, space is no concern here. These tech-free lodgings are designed to immerse children in the beautiful Mendip Hills National Landscape. The following choices are available:
Mendip Basecamp:
Open between May and October, Mendip Basecamp is situated in the heart of the Mendip Hills National Landscape. For groups of between 55 and 300 students, this option is a great and unique way to sleepover in the heart of nature. With exclusive use of nearby shower and toilet facilities, and Glamphouse accommodation available for teachers, Mendip Basecamp is the perfect all-rounder.
Mendip Lodge:
Open exclusively for school bookings during term time, Mendip Lodge is a fantastic way for students to live amongst ancient woodland, with all the home comforts they could need! Groups can enjoy private use of warm showers and indoor toilets, as well as a communal 'chill out' room, in this newly-refurbished building. Hostel-style bunk rooms can host between 55 and 86 children.
YHA Cheddar:
YHA Cheddar is a YHA partner hostel owned and operated by Mendip Adventure. Open year-round in the stunning village of Cheddar, with direct access to the Mendip Hills, and walking distance to Cheddar Gorge. With 53 beds and two buildings, this option is perfect for smaller primary school residentials, or secondary school field study trips.
