Dordogne Adventure is situated on the outskirts of the small picturesque market town of Meymac, the gateway to the Plateau de Millevaches in the Massif Central region of Southern France.

With lakes, woodland, and pretty countryside on the doorstep, the adventure programme here offers lake watersports from sailing and paddleboarding to gorge scrambling and canoeing in the Dordogne valley. There is also a great mix of land-based activities including climbing.
Evenings are spent enjoying a BBQ or having a disco, with plenty of space to spread out.

activities
Activities are delivered by qualified/assessed instructors whose aim is to deliver engaging, fast-paced, fun activities that build confidence and foster a love of the great outdoors.

Water sports take place on the nearby lake of Sechemailles. It is an ideal site for a watersports centre with 42 hectares of blue tranquility surrounded by deep green Correzian woodland.

A full day is enjoyed in the breathtaking upper gorges of the River Dordogne starting with an invigorating stream scramble followed by a canoe problem-solving challenge on the Dordogne tributary lake at Liginiac.

The Chateau du Val, close to the market town of Bort Les Orgues which straddles the River Dordogne is one of the most beautiful fairytale castles in France.
