location, location, location

The centre is perfectly situated in the southern part of the Limousin, making it easy to organise day trips to places of interest in the surrounding regions of the Auvergne, the Lot, and the Dordogne.

Located on the outskirts of the town of  MEYMAC: a Medieval town built in pink granite, nestling in a depression at the foot of the ‘Plateau de Millevaches’ at an altitude of 2500 ft.

The surrounding hills are largely covered by woodlands which give the town its special character.

The original village was built around the Benedictine monastery and protected in Medieval times by a fortified enclosure of which a few vestiges remain today.

During your stay, there will be many an opportunity to visit Meymac and explore its winding stone-paved lanes.
