Hop over the channel to our lakeside Adventure Camp in the rural town of Ardres, for an action-packed French adventure just 2 hours from the UK by ferry and coach.
With a fantastic selection of watersports and activities onsite, your school never need to leave were it not for the lovely local markets, seaside towns and other popular school visits including Nausicaa Aquarium, Boulogne sur Mer, Chocolaterie de Beussent, Escargot du Bocage (snail farm), Chevres de Montcavrel (goat farm) Parc Astérix and Disneyland Paris.
Fun activities here include canoeing, kayaking, paddle boarding, kata kanuing and raft building on the lake as well as learning bushcraft skills and testing your nerves on the high ropes course, just for starters. In the evenings, you will enjoy toasting marshmallows around the campfire, team games and talent shows.
There is a choice of adventure or French discovery here, depending on what you want to do. You can enjoy an action packed adventure programme with the best range of activities available in Northern France or you can choose our French Discovery programme, which offers and includes a range of popular cultural visits as well as onsite activities.

This exciting French adventure residential offers schools and groups an action-packed onsite activity programme with up to five water sports available and an array of popular land based activities. Paddle your canoe on the lake, work together as a team and build a raft to take onto the water, learn bushcraft skills and test your nerves on the high ropes course. In the evenings, you will enjoy toasting marshmallows round the campfire, team games, talent shows and so much more.
Our NGB Qualified/assessed staff will keep your group entertained from morning ‘til night! There’s a lot on offer here to suit all interests and abilities and conveniently, everything taking place onsite here so you don’t have to leave. Some schools like to explore further afield and visit the pretty seaside town of Boulogne sur Mer (40 mins away) and its aquarium. Most visit Cite Europe for a spot of shopping and French practice on the way home.
Lots of schools want to experience the many cultural delights of Northern France and have a little adventure thrown in too. Our brand new French Discovery programme offers the perfect balance of French cultural discovery and adventure. Arrive and enjoy an afternoon of onsite activities. The following day will include a range of exciting onsite activities including a selection of watersports (we are the only provider in the area that offers these). Then, the cultural experience begins with the chance to experience Boulogne sur Mer market and practice a little french and make your own croissants at a Boulangerie. In the afternoon you will visit the popular Nausicaa Sea Centre, a must see destination for schools and then go back to centre for dinner and some fun and games with our team. The next day is a chocolate lovers delight, with the chance to visit a chocolaterie, with a cocoa plantation, followed by a town trail in the picture postcard town of Montreuil sur Mer (where you can go and buy your own lunch ingredients). Plus a visit to either the local Snail Farm or Goat Farm, depending on what you prefer. On your way home the following day there will be the opportunity to visit a large local hypermarket. A final opportunity for a spot of shopping and another chance to practice French.

This small and friendly camp caters for just two school groups at a time in two private tented villages sleeping up to 48 each, making this ideal for schools wanting a quiet setting or even to have exclusive use of the whole camp. As always, each village has a central marquee for dining and socialising and a volleyball court for games. A toilet and shower block is within each reach of all villages and separate facilities are provided for party leaders.
Student tents accommodate four per tent and have proper beds and hard flooring. Party Leader tents sleep two and come with a few extra comforts such as timber framed beds, wooden flooring, a wardrobe, lighting. electricity and a fridge.
