Set in the Plateau de Millevaches National Park, named after its 1000 fresh water springs, lies our new adventure centre, nestled on the edge of the popular Dordogne region of France. We’ve teamed up with Club Correze, who’ve been operating this Adventure Centre for 30 years and with a re-book rate of nearly 90%, this is a really popular adventure residential for schools and groups.
With lakes, woodland and pretty countryside on the doorstep, the adventure programme here offers lake watersports from sailing and paddleboarding to gorge scrambling and canoeing in the Dordogne valley. There is also a great mix of land based activities ranging from climbing to a high ropes course at the stunning Chateau Val, with a zipwire over the lake.
Accommodation here is in your own private dormitory block, within the Club Correze centre, with excellent on-site sport facilities for organised evening activities and any spare time.
Club Correze is located in a National Park setting and offers a varied programme in beautiful natural surroundings. Two days are spent on the Sèchemailles enjoying a range of exhilarating water sports. One of the highlights here is full day in the Dordogne Valley experiencing gorge scrambling and a canoe challenge.
You'll also enjoy a day at The Chateau du Val, close to the market town of Bort Les Orgues which straddles the River Dordogne, which is one of the most beautiful fairytale castles in France. In its shadow stands the Val Aventure High Ropes Course where you'll explore its many elevated physical challenges and exhilarating zip wires.
Evenings include a BBQ night as well as a whole host of other organised activities.
All activities are included and are delivered by the experienced Club Correze Activity team, who are NGB qualified/assessed. All activities delivered by Club Correze are inspected by our own internal and external auditors to ensure they conform to our stringent standards of safety.
Each group booking a minimum of 35 paying people has exclusive use of a secure and private Acorn accommodation block, where young guests sleep in bunk beds in small dormitories which hold between four and ten people with adjoining toilet and shower facilities.
Adults/teachers sleep in ensuite twin rooms located within the same building as the students.
Club Correze is a popular Adventure & Sports Tours venue offering Football and Rugby Camps and so has excellent sport facilities for any spare time, including a 5 a side football pitch, rugby pitch, giant volleyball court, tennis courts, table tennis and outdoor games area. There is also a bar/café area on site.
Over thirty years, this centre has built up an excellent reputation for serving high quality, plentiful food, made using local ingredients. Meals include continental breakfast, packed lunches and in the evening there are buffets, barbecue nights as well as traditional three course dinners.
