We are now recruiting River Leaders who will be responsible for the delivery of various activity sessions to our guests at our centre in Savane in Southern France.
What we’re looking for…
Our River Leaders will be instructing taster sessions in water and land-based activities and working on the Ardeche River leading bivouac sessions to our guests on our ever popular two day descent under the guidance of the Head of Paddlesports.
If you have high standards, are highly motivated and have excellent people skills Acorn is the company for you! We’re looking for staff to deliver excellent customer service to our guests, whilst instructing fun and safe activity sessions for them. As part of the role, you will also be required to interact daily with the guests and get involved in all aspects of centre life from cleaning and serving at meal times to site work.
If you enjoy mucking in and working hard whilst instructing activities and also having the opportunity to get out and about in some fantastic locations, then we want you to apply! We are ideally looking for people with experience of working in outdoor adventure with young people between 7-17 years old and the following:
All of our staff participate in a comprehensive induction & training programme at centre and there are post-season training opportunities to gain NGB qualifications in different activities. We are looking for people who can commit to working the full season.

Along with this, Acorn will offer the 5* training (or new BC scheme personal performance award equivalent) free to River Leaders after successfully completing the full term of 2018 seasonal contract.
