In a spectacular location set between two rivers in the Ardèche, South of France, this is a truly inspirational setting for an outdoor adventure.
Camping La Savane is a spacious centre with a large swimming pool, cafe/bar and extensive range of on-site activities. The real highlight of this trip is the opportunity to spend two days kayaking the Ardèche River, famous for its limestone gorge and the Vallon Pont D'arc. The evening is spent sleeping under the stars at the purpose built bivvi site, which really adds to the adventure and this much loved canoe journey has been enjoyed by school & uniform groups for decades.
At the end of an action packed day, relax in your own private tented village with pre-erected tents (and proper beds) as well as your own marquee. Make use of the large on-site swimming pool, games areas & cafe/bar.
This 5 night adventure is available from May-August and is one of the best school trips you'll ever experience.

All of our activity sessions are led by qualified/assessed instructors whose aim is to deliver engaging, fast paced, fun activities that build confidence and foster a love of the great outdoors.

stay in your own acorn village
Stay in your own exclusive Tented Village within Camping La Savane which is a very spacious centre and offers each group their own area and space. Sleeping between 48 & 60 each standing height, pre-erected tent has up to 5 raised beds and hard flooring. Leader tents sleep up to two, with raised beds, electricity and wardrobe. You will have your own marquee for dining and socialising within your village.
On-site facilities include: Large swimming pool, cafe/bar, toilet & shower blocks, shop, games area, high ropes course, climbing/abseil tower & river with beach area.
