We are currently working on the basis that school & group trips will be running in Summer 2021 and are busy planning and organising the season ahead.
In these uncertain and difficult times, we understand that you may have lots of questions and so we’ve put some information below, based on the most common things we’re being asked at this time. Financial Security – is your money protected?
We are a well-established and respected Tour Operator with many decades of experience. As a member of ABTA & ATOL, your money is protected by law and it is our legal responsibility to financially protect customer deposits as required by Package Travel Regulation. We encourage and advise all customers to follow the terms and conditions of the booking to ensure deposits are financially protected in line with current travel law & FCDO. ABTA remain available to support matters of consumer protection, offering support and services.
Easier Payments
We understand the many challenges schools and groups are facing at this time and we are committed to supporting you as much as we can. Transferring your trip
We fully expect the majority of trips to happen in 2021 and are currently working on this basis. If you have a trip organised and you feel you wish to move the dates, within the same year, then please discuss the options with your Tour Orgainser or email This email address is being protected from spambots. Travel Insurance
Most travel insurance companies now offer cover that includes Covid-19. Typically, the policies cover cancellation due to Covid 19 for the individual/party, medical treatment in resort and repatriation. As with all insurance policies, we advise that customer take time to understand the details of any travel insurance policy. Holding valid travel insurance is a requirement to travel with us.
Replacement system for the EHIC Card
Following Brexit arrangements the EHIC system is to continue under a new name – GHIC. We recommend that all of our customers have a valid card prior to travel and read through the following guidance at the links below for the most up to date information.

Accommodation & transport, activities and venues
As members of ABTA, ATOL, The School Travel Forum (STF), CPT and LOtC, we only use audited accommodation and transport that follow “Covid-19 Secure” guidelines required by UK/Overseas public health agencies at the location. We ask all of our customers to engage and respect hotel, activity centre, coach/airport systems & restrictions. We will make Covid-19 risk assessments available prior to travel based on the most current health guidelines.
Travel post-Brexit
As part of the arrangements between the UK & EU, no difficulties are expected for travel around the EU for up to 90 days in 180 days. Initially your itinerary may include additional time to allow for any minor delays at border controls. However it is in the interest of all parties for the borders to flow smoothly in both directions. Please note that to travel in Europe, 6 months on all passports is required so please ensure all members of the party have checked they have a valid passport to travel to avoid any difficulties at the port. The School Travel Forum `In safe hands`
As accredited members of The School Travel Forum, we adhere to the accrediting body guidelines with regard to safety management, which includes Covid-19. The School Travel Forum was established many years ago to help schools travel with confidence and is a non-profit, professional trade association that promotes school travel and upholds the best in class health & safety processes.
